SPEECH OF CELEBRATION ON THE 17 OF AUGUST INDEPENDENCE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

     Audience whom we fully respect.

     Peace be unto you , Allah’s mercy and blessing as well.

     On this occasion, let’s say just a moment  that  we praise  up our thanks be to the presence of God, the Great Unity, for showering us with comfort, so we are all allowable to  this moment to  assemble  attending  our beloved  Indonesian  Republic Independence Day Anniversary.

     Let’s in this fine day commemorate and meditate our heroes’ fight for offering themselves  with  their life to seize  and  defend    this  independence   from  the   colonial

hand. Let’s  pray  may  the holly  spirit  of our  heroes  killed from  seizing  independence

war  always  get   reasonable   place in front  of  Allah  the  Almighty in  accordance with

the volunteer work of during life.

     Fellow national audience.

     It is really valuable and never measurable by whatever else. By the fighter service, who  were  killed on the  battlefield. Here  we can  breathe the  freedom  air, freedom  from  sore and  suppression. Therefore, the  youth  representatives, as the younger  generation for their  fighting idealism based on ambition and intention for fulfilling independence with building and proofing to our heroes that what they have ever offered us, that is an independence, will be not disregarded.

     Independence seizing to make every effort and offer their life, have to be filled by  building  physical, mental  or  spiritual  ones. Physical  building  is  useless without  accompanied  by  mental  development  and  spiritual  one. What  happen to  this nation if we , as the  younger  generation , have weak  mentality and  being tearful to face against  any  challenges. Crying over asking for help, borrowing  everywhere ,mortgaging properties to fill the needs without any efforts self - standingly. What a pity you are ! Therefore, we are as the  younger  generation do not respect their merit, because the great

people are those who can  respect their  patriots’ merit. Please  internalize  these  words in your  inner heart, in onder you can fill  the independence, please  always  remember  their

merits.

      Therefore , ladies and gentlemen….. in this  happy  occasion in case  commemorating

the Republic of Indonesian Independence, let’s give real contribution for nation and  state  development  and glry, so the  people’s ambition to make people’s fairness and prosperity  based on  Pancasila and 1945  Constitution can  be soon  actualized.

Let’s believe that the nation  respecting their heroes’ merit which will be the great people.

Long life Indonesia …..long life Indonesian nation ! Happy fighting... happy participating in   independence !  May  great  effort  for the  sake of  homeland  will  be  rewarded  by All-loving God ………!!
